„Mindfully on the Way“ on Sunday, the 13th of September, 2026, 9:30 a.m. Circular hike Schelborn/Oberdürenbach„The Biophilia Effect“ – is the healing bond between humans and nature. The healing effect unfolds as you embrace the moment and open yourself to what IS: You move in nature, inhale the healthy air, feel the wind on your skin and the solid ground beneath your feet. You are grounded. Your thoughts become calm and your mind becomes clear.

For this wonderful nature experience, I invite you to the magnificent nature of the legendary volcanic region of Laacher See.
The approximately 5 km long circular hike with about 120 meters in elevation begins at the cemetery in Schelborn. The route continues through the forest along idyllic meadow paths up to a hill.
There, we enjoy a fantastic panoramic view and a beautiful look at the Olbrück Castle.
The way back runs over expansive meadow paths, which continually reveal beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Finally, we reach our starting point in Schelborn relaxed.
The hike is accompanied by inspiring mindfulness impulses and gentle yoga exercises that deepen the nature experience and beneficially address both body and mind.
To warm up/refresh, there will be a tea break with cookies. Feel free to bring your own drinks.
Everyone – regardless of age – is warmly welcome.
Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear are recommended.

Meeting point: The start and end point is the cemetery in Schelborn at 9:30 a.m., with a return around 12:30 p.m.

The participant fee is 20 euros for adults, payable in cash on site or transferred in advance.
