Experience nature as a source of strength; on Sunday, 14.06.2026, at 9.30 am from Krufter Waldsee to Teufelskanzel "There is a power from eternity and this is green"(Hildegard v. Bingen 1098-1179)Immersion in green has a calming and relaxing effect, lowers blood pressure, strengthens the immune system and increases the happiness hormones.I invite you to this soothing experience in the wonderful nature of the legendary volcanic region of Laacher See.

The moderately difficult circular hike (approx. 6.5 km, 220 m difference in altitude) leads along moderately ascending forest paths to a narrow, steep path (surefootedness is required here), past an impressive rocky niche up to the "Teufelskanzel" rocky outcrop. From up here, we enjoy the unique panoramic view over Kruft and the Neuwied basin. On the way back, we immerse ourselves in the green of the impressive beech forest. The lake is open especially for us on this day, so we end the hike right by the lake.
The hike is accompanied by inspiring mindfulness impulses and gentle yoga exercises that deepen the experience of nature and have a beneficial effect on body and mind.
There will be a tea break with cookies and fruit for refreshment. You are welcome to bring your own drinks.
Everyone - regardless of age - is welcome who is able to walk 6.5 km with a few climbs and at the same time wants to experience a conscious view of nature and a mindful approach to their own body. Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes are recommended.
Sure-footedness is required on the narrow path.

Meeting point: Start and finish is the Krufter Ofen/Krufter Waldsee hiking parking lot at 9.30 am, return is around 1.00 pm.

The participation fee is 20 euros for adults, to be paid in cash on site.
