The play features “true,” whimsical, heartwarming, and hilarious stories that took place in the 1960s at a gas station in the Eifel region—perhaps in Burgbrohl. This hilarious comedy, performed in the Rhineland dialect, brings the Eifel way of life and sense of humor to the Kaiser stage. Local characters encounter neighbors and the authorities, turning everyday gossip into pure theatrical delight. A lighthearted, nostalgic evening about the people of the Brohltal region, the solidarity and individuality of the protagonists, and the locally characteristic, politically incorrect Eifel humor of the 1960s.
