To mark the 10th anniversary of the Eifelleiter premium hiking trail, Mayor Johannes Bell traditionally invites people to join him on very special hikes through the Brohl valley. For more than 15 years, the "Hiking with the Mayor" event has offered hiking enthusiasts the opportunity to discover the most beautiful sections of popular hiking trails as well as previously undiscovered corners together.

The Eifel ladder leads from Bad Breisig on the Rhine up to the Hohe Acht, the highest elevation in the Eifel. Along the way, participants encounter breathtaking landscape panoramas, volcanic rock formations and dense forests that make the hiking trail so unique. Trained hiking guides accompany the hikes and provide exciting insights into the history of the Eifel ladder and the region as a hiking paradise. The anniversary hikes are an opportunity to experience the nature and culture of the Brohl Valley up close. There will be plenty of time for conversation and questions along the way - an ideal experience for anyone who wants to combine exercise, conversation and enjoying nature. Another highlight is the lunch break lovingly prepared by the team, where you can enjoy refreshments in a convivial atmosphere.
