Vacation workshop "The Emperor's Master Builders": Tuesday, 12.08.2025, 14.00 to 16.30 In this workshop, the young researchers go on a discovery tour through the almost 2,000-year-old Meurin Roman mine. A child-friendly guided tour imparts knowledge about the life of Roman miners in and around the tuff quarry.

In the interactive part of the workshop, the explorers themselves become Roman miners: under supervision, blocks of tuff are worked on in the stonemason's hut, flour is ground using a millstone and heavy blocks of rock are lifted using a Roman crane. Archery is another highlight of the 2.5-hour program.

Registration is required due to limited places.
