On this day, the monastery’s facilities once again open their doors and gates to the public. Visitors can expect unique, out-of-the-ordinary experiences as well as a varied program :

Monastery Forum: 10 :30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.—family-friendly monastery tours every 30 minutes (same as last year); 1:30–3:30 p.m.—special tour with Walter Müller
Church: Gereon Krahforst: Organ improvisation “Volcanic Eruption”
Culinary Highlights: Stands with wine & tarte flambée, ice cream & waffles, potatoes with herb quark, homemade lemonade with herbs from the nursery, coffee & sheet cake

1:00–4:00 p.m. – The stonemasons from Weibern will be at the Tourist Information Center, inviting young and old alike to participate in a hands-on activity.

7:00 p.m. – Volcano Meets Vino – Wine tasting with musical accompaniment and a view of Lake Laach (SOLD OUT)
