Campground - RCN Laacher See

Camping right on Lake Laach!

RCN Laacher See is located in the heart of the “Vulkaneifel” nature reserve and right on the breathtakingly beautiful crater lake Laacher See. This volcanic crater is the perfect place to swim, go stand-up paddleboarding, or explore the lake by boat in the summer. Many campsites offer views of Laacher See. The campground is sunny, but thanks to the natural vegetation, it also provides plenty of shaded areas.

The campground is surrounded by forest and water, offering a wonderful nature experience—perfect for relaxation.

If you’re traveling with children and prefer more company, you can book a site near the playground or the terrace. All sites have their own electrical hookup and restroom facilities nearby.

There is also an activity room and a team that offers a daily children’s program during the high season. At the reception, you can rent stand-up paddleboards to enjoy the beautiful Lake Laach.

The team consists of Dutch and German staff, making it easy to communicate with all guests. The restaurant also offers a nice variety of dishes.

Do you live in the area and want to enjoy the sunbathing lawn by beautiful Lake Laach? That’s possible too! Tickets are available at the front desk, online with a 20% discount, and there are ten-visit passes specifically for locals.
