The nature trail around Lake Laach is a hiking trail for all seasons. On mostly well-maintained forest paths - there are also sections with the character of a path - it mostly leads halfway around the lake. There are always views of the lake and monastery along the way.

The start and finish of the high-quality 15.8 km long picturesque circular hiking trail is the "Rodder Maar" hiking parking lot between Roder and Niederzissen. Other good starting points are the historic village of Königsfeld and the Schalkenbach and Oberdürenbach stage points.
