Presented from a nostalgic vintage fire truck that combines cinema, sound, and lighting technology, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of the pioneering days of film, accompanied by live instrumental music.

A unique blend of visuals and music transforms the Bungertwiese into a one-of-a-kind open-air cinema. Presented from a nostalgic vintage fire truck (Magirus Deutz, built in 1969), which combines cinema, sound, and lighting technology, with live instrumental accompaniment and shown on historic 16mm film, the experience recreates the atmosphere of the pioneering days of cinema.

Since 1999, the WANDERKINO has been touring Germany and Europe and was awarded the German Silent Film Prize in 2023—an experience for the eyes and ears that brings cinema history to life.
