Plaidt
Directions:
When you are in front of the Volcano Park Information Center, follow the path to the right over the bridge and then turn left onto a small path. This leads you over a wooden bridge and then along the "Nette" until you cross another bridge and see a meadow. After this, turn left and enter a park. At the end and at the next opportunity, turn left and cross a bridge. Keep right here and follow the path straight ahead past another bridge. Then turn left twice to reach Ochtendunger Straße. Cross this road until you come to Burgstraße. Then turn left twice, first into the street "An der Pfaut" and then into Krezer Straße. Follow the latter through the village of Plaidt until you reach the country road (L117). Cross this road and follow "Kretzer Straße", which later becomes Plaidter Straße, straight on to Kretz. At the end, turn right into the street "In der Hohl" and then left into Hahnenwiesenweg. Follow the path along the stream until you come to a fork in the road, where you take the path to the right into the village. You come to Kirchweg, which you follow straight ahead and cross the main road. Continue straight ahead along Alte Andernacher Straße and then Schulstraße until you reach the main road again. Keep right there and then take the footpath on the left towards Plaidt. Follow the path straight ahead, past the "Krufter Bachtal" landscape monument, over a crossroads to a tennis court and then to the road (L117). Cross the road and walk along Friedhofstraße and then turn right behind the cemetery into Gildestraße. At the end of Gildestraße, keep left and cross the "Alter Kirchplatz" straight ahead into Miesenheimer Straße and then turn right into Mühlenstraße until you reach the "Café am Park". Turn left into the park. Keep left before the bridge and follow the path along the pond to the crossroads. There you take the second path on the right, which leads you over two bridges along the "Nette" back to the parking lot.
