OrgelImpuls zum 4. Advent
Dec 21, 2025
Maria Laach
This time a particularly varied program will be presented, beginning with fantasies by the Rhineland composer Lambert Kleesattel from Wesseling, followed by a small work by the Southern German Baroque composer Fischer and some of our own small Advent chorale preludes. This will be followed by a variations series inspired by the French Baroque on "Hark, the Herald" by Shannon, after which two chorales by Schroeder will be performed. Two works by Vierne will conclude the event: the chamber music piece "Pastorale" and, as a crowning piece - like bells slowly ringing in the Christmas celebration - "Carillon de Westminster".
Duration: approx. 45 minutes.
Admission free; donations appreciated.
Warm invitation
