For he also sings in an old Albanian language that is spoken in his village in Calabria. With his new songs, he participated in the qualification for the "Eurovision Song Contest" of Albania in 2024 and 2025, as well as in 2025 for the ESC of Kosovo. TV and radio appearances followed, along with a large open-air concert in Tirana.
Santino De Bartolo has collaborated with many giants of the international music scene, including Jehtro Tull, Fairport Convention, Donovan, Phil Beer, Randy Hansen, Ralph McTell, Kris Kristofferson, Richie Havens (Freedom/Woodstock), Martin Allcock (a great musician who arranged albums for Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin), Cat Stevens, and many others) as well as Angelo Branduardi.
One of his songs was translated into English by his friend, the English singer-songwriter Allan Taylor under the title "Like A Cloud." Allan Taylor has given many concerts together with Hannes Wader. He has released seven albums and is currently working on another. His songs can be found on his official channel on Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and all other music platforms.
With Lulo Reinhardt, he brings the sun of Calabria to the Kaiser stage in Burgbrohl and takes the audience back to his homeland.
Lulo Reinhardt is at home on the stages of the world: Great Britain, America, Australia, Alaska, and tonight Burgbrohl. Everything is scalable. Lulo comes from the well-known Sinti family of the Reinhardts and grew up in Koblenz. He learned to play guitar from his father Bawo at the age of 5,
with the music of Django Reinhardt or the Shadows, a British pop band, playing a significant role. By the age of
12, Lulo was playing with his cousins in the Mike-Reinhardt Sextet and founded the formation "I Gitanos" with his father Bawo and cousin Degé in 1993. Thus began a creative musical life full of productivity. During Lulo Reinhardt's Australian tour in 2008, the DVD "Lulo Reinhardt Live in
Melbourne" was created. Since 2010, he has been working with his "International Latin-Swing Project".
Several CDs and film projects emerged, including in Morocco the film documentary "Desert Inspiration." For the CD "Gypsy meets India," produced with Indian artists in Kolkata, Lulo received the German Record Critics' Award in 2019 in the “World Music” category. He continually collaborates with other artists, creating a constantly different, individual sound, as he did last year on the Kaiser stage with classical guitarist Yuliya Lonskaya.
