Römerweg - RKre4

Kretz

Directions:

From the parking lot, follow the main road downhill and then turn right into the street "In die Hohl". After a short stretch, take the Hahnenwiesenweg on the right. Follow the path that runs along the "Krufter Bach" stream until you see a bridge on your left. Keep right and you will come to an underpass and Mühlenstraße. Turn right and follow the path across Meurinstraße and along a meadow until you reach the parking lot of the Roman mine. Leave the parking lot via the exit and turn left. Follow the path straight ahead, which takes you around to the right over a pedestrian bridge. After the bridge, keep right and follow the path straight ahead for a while, ignoring the paths that branch off for the time being. Take the fifth path up on the left and follow it until you reach the country road (L118). Cross this and follow the road "Im Breitholz" diagonally opposite straight ahead uphill until you discover the "Permakultur" on the left. After the visit, walk back along the road and turn right behind the halls and then left at the next junction. Follow the path straight ahead past a quarry until you see the Nickenich church. There, turn left into Hintergasse, which you follow until you reach Andernacher Straße. First keep left and then shortly afterwards turn right into Plaidter Straße, which you follow straight ahead. Cross the country road (L118) again and follow the road straight ahead back towards Kretz. Turn right at the third junction and cross the bridge again. Now go back the way you came: across the Römerbergwerk parking lot, along Mühenstraße under the underpass and left into Hahnenwiesenweg. At the end of the road, keep left and then left again. You will now see the church.
