The Riedener Waldsee lake is reached after you have already enjoyed views of the Westerwald and Siebengebirge mountains. In fine weather, the lake is also ideal for swimming. The upper Nettetal valley leads to the ascent to Hohenleimbach and before that there are several stream crossings to master. When you can see Olbrück Castle, the landmark of the Brohl Valley, you have almost reached the starting point in Oberzissen.

The loops are best ridden in a clockwise direction. - Altitude: 909 m

All loops can be shortened or lengthened by linking up with the neighboring loops.

The loops mostly lead along country lanes, some of which are asphalted. Only very few footpaths or stretches on foot.
