Marienkapelle Volkesfeld

Volkesfeld

The chapel was built in 1826.
In 1906 it was embellished with a new altar and four painted windows.
The latter represent the birth of Jesus and St. Family, the twelve-year-old Jesus in the temple and a new offering of thanksgiving.
In the summer of 1909 a sacristy was added to the east side of the chapel.
