Heimatmuseum Oberzissen

Oberzissen

In September 2007 the Heimatverein Oberzissen set up a museum in the premises of the old school.

Local history comes alive with many historical exhibits, but also finds from the near past.
The exhibition includes an indoor and an outdoor area.

You can see almost forgotten household, agricultural and wine-growing equipment, tools and school utensils.
The collection also shows objects from the Celtic and Roman times, all of which come from Oberzissen and the surrounding area.

Opening times and guided tours on request.
