Unique in Germany is the new concept with 5 pillars. "In organizing the event, we want to bring ecological, economic, and social aspects into harmony," said Roland Wesche from the LG organizing team at a press conference on August 25, 2025, at the Laacher See Hotel. "It is primarily about the economical and efficient use of resources, the avoidance of waste such as plastic and aluminum, as well as the possibility of environmentally conscious travel and efficient logistics for our event." There was consistently positive feedback from those present regarding the 5 pillars concept.

Before the start, participants can take part in joint mindfulness exercises. Ambitiously running individuals with disabilities and from migrant backgrounds are also warmly invited. "We want to incorporate the themes of inclusion and migration into our running event, based on the motto: Sport & Fun – experiencing movement with and without disabilities, no matter where you come from," said Wesche. He is supported by many experienced and highly motivated helpers from the LG Laacher See.

As in previous years, participants can look forward to numerous awards and prizes. For example, the fastest three men and women in the main race will receive special prizes from PSD Bank, and the top three in each age group in the main race will also be honored. This year again, 3 high-quality raffle prizes will be drawn among the participants, fitting the theme of environmentally conscious nature running.
After the race, all participants and guests will once again have the opportunity to celebrate and have fun together on the beautiful grounds by Laacher See.
