Volkesfeld

The honor cross was inaugurated on the "Riethel" on November 18, 1954 as a cross of honor for those who fell in the First and Second World Wars.

From the location of the cross, which also serves as a lookout point, you have a great view of the village and the surrounding area.
In 2006 lighting was installed so that the basalt cross can be recognized as a "landmark" in the dark.
